It's quiet - three cars a day on our dead-end road is a traffic jam. It's like living in a secluded cabin, deep in the woods.
But it's not deep in the woods. A five minute walk brings you to the Mountain Lakes recreation area. Enjoy the beach. Rent canoes or paddleboats. Watch the kids knock themselves out at the playground. There's even a beautiful community pool and a basketball court.
A 10 minute drives brings you civilization: restaurants, stores, business and professional offices, a small hospital, and government and municipal services. Drive a little further and you'll find bigger though still-small towns like Littleton and Lincoln that offer all kinds of attractions, entertainment, year-round seasonal activities and cultural opportunities. We're an easy commute to Hannover, Dartmouth Hospital and College, and to West Lebanon for serious shopping.
